Description
On July 4, 1981, WFAA’s Robert Riggs traveled to Kleberg in Southeast Dallas to investigate strange sightings that had residents on edge. Locals claimed they saw a massive, red-eyed creature—nearly 9 feet tall—wandering the woods along Buford Road. Some said it looked like Bigfoot. Others said it moved like it was hurt, but it wasn’t.
Adding to the mystery, residents also reported mutilated animals and trees being ripped from the ground. The sheriff’s office even captured a baboon—possibly one of the exotic animals released years earlier when “Animal World” shut down nearby.
