Description
Scattered showers are likely this morning, with a few thunderstorms are possible. Some of the stronger storms could produce gusty winds and heavy downpours, but we're not expecting any severe weather with this activity.
Unfortunately, the frontal system that was supposed to drop our humidity some for the early part of this week is looking to stall out over the region. This means the humidity will stay in place, and our rain chances will linger around as well. Expect isolated showers and storms to remain possible this afternoon with temps in the mid- to upper 80s, along with even warmer weather and an isolated chance for showers and storms back on Tuesday.
Highs in the low 90s, along with increased moisture, will return on Wednesday. This will bring back higher chances for scattered afternoon storms each day through the rest of the week, as temperatures start to push back down into the 80s.
Looking ahead to next weekend, it's possible we could still clear this pattern out, but recent trends are leaning more toward the humid and unsettled pattern sticking around!
