IndyGo announced the first major construction closure for the Blue Line, the third and largest bus rapid transit line in Marion County. Beginning on or after Monday, June 16 the Blue Line construction closure will go into effect along Washington Street, between North White River Parkway and Belmont Avenue on the city's near west side, for approximately six months. According to a news release from IndyGo, the closure is needed to construct new storm sewer trunk lines.
