"I’m really concerned about this new hurricane season, and I’m not even back in my home yet," said Luisa Leto of Town 'n' Country.
Leto was one of dozens who attended and voiced concerns over what they said was a need for more drainage solutions in their respective neighborhoods. Other concerns shared included infrastructure issues neighbors state exacerbated flooding in their homes.
"Last year when the hurricanes came, we had a lot of flooding at Hillsborough and Hanley Road. We had a lot of cars underwater," said Russell Habel of Town 'n' Country.
