June 10 on The Story: Yesterday, we brought you a story about the state of Oregon's fledgling psilocybin therapy industry — one that's struggled to gain any traction due to the expenses and restrictions it faces. But among the thousands who've sought out this form of therapy since the first Oregon clinics opened are those who say it's completely changed their lives. Tonight, we follow a Portland woman haunted by the loss of her 25-year-old son in 2023, a grief she can't seem to move on from. She decided to try psilocybin therapy as a way of gaining new perspective, and we spoke with her both before and just after that experience.
