Indianapolis police are investigating after a 57-year-old man died in a lawn mower accident on the city's northeast side Thursday evening. According to a public police report, IMPD officers were called around 6:15 p.m. May 30 to the 8800 block of Lantern Lane, north of of Fall Creek Road and Fort Harrison State Park, for a death investigation. The Marion County Coroner's Office said the man, identified as Michael Thomas Fledderman, died in an accident involving a riding mower. An IMPD spokesperson referred to the incident as a "lawn mower rollover."
