A seniot French bishop calls on pilgrims to visit the Holy Land to show solidarity with struggling Christian communities in the region, during a press conference at the Latin Patriarchate in the Old City of Jerusalem. Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline, president of the French Bishops' Conference, made his appeal at the end of a five-day solidarity visit to the the Holy Land, accompanied by two other prelates from the French Bishops' conference. On Sunday, Aveline attended Sunday Mass in Taybeh in the occupied West Bank, a Christian village regularly targeted by attacks from Israeli Jewish settlers. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
