Vietnamese singer Duc Phuc is crowned winner of Russia's Intervision song contest, beating artists from more than 20 countries. The contest has been revived as Moscow seeks to compete with a "decadent" Eurovision which it is banned from over its offensive in Ukraine. "I believe that this is a powerful statement from Russia," lead engineer Daria Nikulina told AFP. "If we are not allowed somewhere, we will implement the projects we need ourselves."
