Injured Afghans are treated at Spin Boldak district hospital following fresh skirmishes between Afghan Taliban and Pakistan forces around the border, which killed dozens on both sides. Hours later, Islamabad said the two sides had agreed to a 48-hour ceasefire. "I was in a room. It was near the gate of the border. Pakistani forces fired mortars. Shrapnel hit me. Early in the morning, I was brought here [hospital] by ambulance," says Abdul Khaliq, a Spin Boldak resident who was injured and treated at the hospital. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
