Description
Regarding the heat, highs will reach the lower 90s today and Wednesday, but once you add in the humidity, the heat index or feels-like will likely reach the upper 90s to near 100 each day.
This has prompted a 10TV Weather Impact Alert Day today and tomorrow, so make sure you are staying cool, taking breaks, and staying hydrated. Check on those without access to A/C, especially the very young, the elderly and don't forget your animals!
We'll catch a break from the storms today, but could see more of an isolated chance the second half of Wednesday and into Thursday morning as a cold front moves into the region.
Not only will this front bring rain and storm chances, but also relief! You will notice a welcomed drop in temperatures starting Thursday!
We will dry out as we head into the weekend, and it will be much cooler. Expect highs to be in the upper 70s to low 80s, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 50s to low 60s heading into the weekend. The cooler and dry weather will continue through the beginning of next week.
