Description
The Big Ten kicked off its three-day media event in Las Vegas before the 2025-26 football season.
Ohio State along with Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska and Rutgers are all participating on Tuesday.
Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m.
Petitti's comments come days after the Associated Press reported that he sent a letter to the NCAA Committee on Infractions suggesting that Michigan's football program should not face more sanctions stemming from a sign-stealing scheme. Michigan's media day is scheduled for Thursday.
Head coach Ryan Day is scheduled to speak with the media at 3:45 p.m. Wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, safety Caleb Downs and linebacker Sonny Styles are expected to talk at 6:15 p.m. Their press conferences will be available in this article.
The media days come over a month before Ohio State is set to take on Texas in the 2025 season opener on Aug. 30.
Earlier this month, Smith said a lot of people are doubting the Buckeyes this year. This comes after more than a dozen Ohio State players made their way to the NFL.
"I just can't wait til the season start. We definitely going to put on a show. A lot of people been doubting us," Smith said. "I can't wait to prove a lot of people wrong this year."
