Description
Another warm and muggy day ahead, with returning chances of showers and storms this afternoon. There is a Flood Watch for southern parts of the viewing area from 2pm through this evening. In those counties, flash flooding is possible from a combination of more heavy rain in areas that already have received a lot of rain.
There is the potential for more than 1" of rainfall through the end of the week, with some locations in the southern 1/3 of the viewing area possibly receiving more!
The trend is for unsettled weather to continue into the weekend, with some of the storms later Saturday and into Sunday could contain more heavy rain and gusty winds. Stay connected with the 10TV Weather Impact team as the situation unfolds heading into the weekend.
And while we will be tracking wet weather at times over the next week, it's also looking like more heat will be building. So with our normal high temperatures holding in the mid 80s, that means 90s are looking more likely.
