Description
The rain was brief, and now it's gone and replaced with more sunshine and much cooler air!
Daytime highs today will remain below normal for Wednesday, with brisk northerly winds keeping things chilly.
More fall-like conditions are expected for the rest of the week, as highs will be in the 60s on Thursday, with overnight temperatures dipping into the upper 30s by Friday morning.
And while a hard freeze is not likely, frost may be possible early Friday morning in some of the more rural communities.
Temperatures slowly moderate under mainly sunny skies and relaxing winds.
The cold snap won't last long, with highs returning to the 70s by Friday and plenty of sunshine into the weekend and dry weather into next week.
