The Marion County Prosecutor's Office formally charged a father and his ex-girlfriend for their alleged roles in the murder of his daughter. Zachary Arnold, 41, of Indianapolis, is charged with murder, and 30-year-old Andrea Lopez-Figueroa, of Lawrence, is charged with assisting a criminal when the criminal assisted or committed murder and failure to make a report. IMPD confirmed Lopez-Figueroa was arrested Thursday afternoon. During his initial hearing, Zachary entered a preliminary plea of not guilty. Prosecutors are requesting life without parole. Zachary's pretrial conference is scheduled for July 28. During Lopez-Figueroa's initial hearing May 29, she submitted a preliminary plea of not guilty. She will remain free on bond, with a remote hearing scheduled for July 28.
