Description
A fast-moving landspout damaged several businesses Monday afternoon in Franktown, according to Franktown Fire. There were no reports of injuries, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said. The landspout – which is a type of tornado – struck about 2:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 86 and Burning Tree Drive. Photos posted to social media by the sheriff's office show debris scattered on the ground, a tilted flagpole and tarps draped over damaged buildings.
