Description
For the first time ever, Netflix is inviting audiences into the cockpit of the United States Air Force's legendary flight squadrons.
"Air Force Elite: Thunderbirds" is an action-packed, 90-minute documentary that shows the extraordinary training, danger and personal sacrifice it takes to be among the celebrated demonstration team.
"If I zoom way out here, no one would care if the Thunderbirds were six drones flying in perfect formation. No matter how perfect it is, the experience to connect with people, it has to be human," said United States Air Force Col. Justin "Astro" Elliott. "What I saw (director) Matt (Wilcox) and his team do was create a human story out of a fighter jet squadron, and I could not be happier with the work that Matt put into this and how this all turned out for the United States."
"Air Force Elite: Thunderbirds" is now streaming on Netflix.
