Description
Hamilton County officials and Indiana State Police announced an arrest May 20 in a cold case murder more than three decades old.
On March 16, 1992, Tony Bledsoe was reported missing by his family from Arcadia, Indiana. Police now believe that is the same day he was killed.
Then, on April 3, 1992, human remains were located in Putnam County, near the Clay County line. That case was given to the Indiana State Police and went unsolved.
Those remains were identified in 2018 as being Tony Bledsoe after the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office received a tip. DNA was used to make positive identification.
Since 2018, police have worked to follow leads, serving warrants and interviewing people.
That led them to Thomas Anderson.
