Holiday World & Splashin' Safari opened in Santa Claus, Indiana, in 1946 as Santa Claus Land. Since then, the park has slowly grown to become a Midwest entertainment destination. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the park brought in their first launched water coaster, Cheetah Chase. The 2025 season will see the premiere of a Thanksgiving-themed ride.
