Description
We're taking a closer look at plans to ease traffic congestion on the north side of Indianapolis.
The project involves U.S. 31 at the Interstate 465 interchange between Indianapolis and Carmel. More than 100,000 people travel through that area every day. That's more than planners anticipated years ago, and that number is only expected to climb.
In fact, we're told it could exceed 150,000 over the next 20 years.
That's where the Level Up 31 project comes in. Crews will be adding capacity on the eastbound and westbound ramps.
