Description

A man is in jail after a woman died more than two years ago in southern Indiana. On Oct. 2, 2022, authorities received a call about an injured woman on Brownstown Road in Henryville, Indiana. When they arrived, police said they found Brittney Boman suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders transported her to a Louisville hospital, where she later died on Dec. 30, 2022. Years later in December 2024, her case was given to the Indiana State Police (ISP) Cold Case Unit, and after months of investigating, authorities issued an arrest warrant for 33-year-old Derek Pixley of Borden.
