Description
A new cooking competition show is coming to NBC.
Emmy Award-winning chefs José Andrés and Martha Stewart host "Yes, Chef!" as 12 highly skilled yet rebellious chefs compete for the $250,000 grand prize.
"In the process, you're gonna see the behaviors of every one of those chefs that precisely they've been selected by family, friends and coworkers because they felt they had a personal behavior was holding them back from even a bigger success. This is a show about life itself around food in a kitchen," said Andrés, who owns José Andrés Group, which operates 40 restaurants in the U.S. and beyond, including the two Michelin-starred minibar by José Andrés.
At 83 years old, Stewart is continuing her decades-long career of cooking shows, including "Martha Stewart Living" and "The Martha Stewart Show."
"Martha is an icon. It's everything you heard and you read and then so much more. She's witty, she's funny, she has so much wisdom and she always has an amazing voice to improve the lives of every one of those younger chefs," Andrés said. "She's a queen. She's one of the best people I can say has been part of my life."
New episodes of "Yes, Chef!" air Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
