Description
Thousands of Indiana residents remain without power after severe storms swept across the state Wednesday night, toppling trees, snapping utility poles and downing power lines.
AES Indiana said as of 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 4, crews had restored electricity to 95% of the roughly 87,000 customers who lost service. Approximately 4,100 customers remained without power late Friday.
The utility said it expects complete restoration by midday Sunday, April 6.
