Description

A man is dead after a shooting on Indy's west side Thursday afternoon. According to IMPD, shortly after 3 p.m. on March 20, officers responded to the 9100 block of Wellston Drive, which is near North Raceway Road and Rockville Road on Indy's west side, on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found an adult male who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after EMS arrival.
