Description
Over the past 90 years, we've seen Elmer Fudd hunt Bugs Bunny, Road Runner escape Wile E. Coyote and Sylvester the Cat chase Tweety Bird.
Now, the first fully animated "Looney Tunes" feature film is starring Daffy Duck and Porky Pig.
Yes, we've had "Space Jam," "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" and "Space Jam: A New Legacy" –starring Michael Jordan, Brendan Fraser and LeBron James, respectively – but "The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie" is a 91-minute animated film as Daffy Duck and Porky Pig try to save the planet from an alien-chewing gum invasion.
"Warner Bros. and the 'Looney Tunes' has always been like the anti-everything else cartoon. They've always broken the fourth wall. They've probably been one of the first animated forms to take on pop culture," said Emmy-winning voice actor Eric Bauza, who voices both Daffy Duck and Porky Pig. "It's very groundbreaking in that sense that they were always just a little bit grittier than most other cartoons of that time."
"The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie" is now in theaters nationwide.
