Description
Hundreds of Hoosiers carried signs and lined up outside the Indiana Statehouse on Saturday with an important message.
"While we have never been equal, we have rolled backwards," McKenzie Derr said.
It was day to celebrate the achievements of women and the power of sisterhood.
"We started off with brunch with our other girlfriend. We had Cafe Patachou and had some mimosas, and then, we came here together. And actually, I'm celebrating my birthday party tonight, so we'll all be together tonight," Derr said.
The women who showed up to the rally March 8 not only want their voices to be heard now, but also every day in the future.
