An Indianapolis man is charged with neglect leading to death after a 3-year-old boy drank his methadone and died. Asher Robinson died on Jan. 25, 2025, after he allegedly drank a cup of methadone that had been left on top of a dresser of a home in the 3300 block of Carpenter Court, near the intersection of Sherman Drive and Raymond Street. James Roberson, 69, is charged with neglect of a dependent leading to death. He is the ex-husband of Asher's grandmother, who had adopted him.
