An 84-year-old woman is in critical condition after firefighters rescued her from a burning home on Indy's northeast side early Tuesday morning. IFD spokesperson Rita Reith said initial emergency calls reported seeing a fire, but none of the callers could provide an accurate address. Therefore, firefighters were sent to multiple different locations to investigate. IFD crews eventually found the fire at the 5200 block of Windridge Drive, near East 56th Street and Emerson Way, around 4:30 a.m. Feb. 25.
