Description
There's only a few days left in Black History Month, and right now, a group of students in Indianapolis are trying to write their own history at the Statehouse.
They're doing it by using their own voices.
Inside the former Francis Bellamy School on Indy's east side, students practiced a presentation they hope will impact trends involving people in their age group. They're part of the Power and Promise Program at VOICES, which is a Black-led organization in Indianapolis, run by a husband and wife, with a desire to "transform communities of color."
