IMPD is investigating a fatal crash that happened early Saturday morning in downtown Indianapolis. According to IMPD, just before 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 22, officers responded to the area of East McCarty Street and Madison Avenue, near South Meridian and Delaware streets, on a report of a crash. When officers arrived, they found one vehicle had been involved in the crash. Police said at least one victim was pronounced dead and two others were taken to local hospitals.
