Description
In "Surface," a traumatic accident left Sophie Ellis (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) with extreme memory loss, as she questioned those around her, including her financier husband, James (Oliver Jackson-Cohen).
Continuous flashes in Sophie's memory of a woman (Millie Brady) lead her from San Francisco to London to uncover secrets from her past, which is where the second season picks up.
"It's almost like Season 1 is this roller coaster that's going up, up, up, really building the suspense. And then, Season 2 drops into this whole new world of intensity and dynamism and complexity," said Mbatha-Raw ("Belle," "Beyond the Lights"). "It's really, really exciting, and I think if people haven't yet discovered the show, they've got a real treat in store with Season 1 and Season 2 going to whole new levels."
New episodes of "Surface" are released Fridays through April 11 on Apple TV+.
