Description
A teenager got stuck nearly 50 feet down a mine shaft in California.
The 16-year-old and his friends were exploring using a household rope, but the rope broke as they were climbing back up, causing one of the teens to fall all the way to the bottom.
Rescue crews got there and were able to save the teen by using a lightweight, complex rope system.
The teen was taken to a hospital for treatment, but he did not suffer any major injuries.
