Description
Dating is difficult.
Throw in some credit card debt and 10% of Americans will say "no thanks" to your company, a NerdWallet survey found.
On the flip side, Sara Rathner, with NerdWallet, said 90% of Americans do not consider credit card debt to be a deal-breaker.
"Which is great news if you're single and you have credit card debt," Rathner said.
For people ages 18-43, that 10% number goes up a little. For people ages 44-78, it slightly decreases. So, younger people are slightly more concerned about credit card debt.
The survey found that, for most Americans, the concerns are more so the amount of debt and your plans, or lack thereof, to pay it off.
