Minutes before Monday night’s Indianapolis City-County Council meeting, Democratic Councilor Jesse Brown announced he was expelled from the council’s Democratic Caucus. In a newsletter to his constituents, Brown said 13 Democratic councilors voted to oust him from the caucus on Feb. 3. He also went on to name them: Maggie Lewis, Carlos Perkins, Leroy Robinson, Vop Osili, Frank Mascari, Andy Nielsen, Nick Roberts, Ali Brown, Brienne Delaney, Keith Graves, John Barth, Rena Allen and Ron Gibson.
