The Indianapolis Public Schools board responded to a proposed bill in the Indiana Statehouse that could dissolve the school district, along with four others in the state. On Thursday, Jan. 30, parents and educators gave their input on the proposal, too, and it got heated at times. Parents, teachers and IPS supporters packed the board meeting to discuss the future of the district. Some people in the room felt the need to remind the school board members why they should be against House Bill 1136, pushing them to fight back harder.
