Description
Thousands of people fleeing war, violence and persecution are in limbo, after President Donald Trump suspended America's refugee resettlement program "until further notice."
That includes more than 100 families here in Indiana who were expecting the arrival of loved ones in the next few weeks and months.
Exodus Refugee Immigration, Inc. in Indianapolis works to resettle refugees, helping them rebuild their lives.
They say their clients are fearful right now — so much so that the organization has locked its doors and is moving classes and meetings with clients off-site or holding them virtually.
Exodus posted on Facebook Wednesday, Jan. 29, "This is dangerous. It’s racist. And it’s wrong."
