An Indianapolis mother is behind bars for her alleged role in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Saturday evening on the city's northeast side. According to a police report from IMPD, around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 25, IMPD responded to an apartment complex in the 6300 block of Newberry Road, near Shadeland Avenue and Fall Creek Road, on a report of a death investigation.
