Nearly 20 people, along with 15 pets, were displaced after a large fire at an apartment complex on Indianapolis' north side overnight. The fire was reported around 12:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, at the Edison at Meridian Hills apartments in the 800 block of Antique Court, near Hoover Road and West 64th Street. Multiple calls to 911 reported the fire, with additional reports of people trapped on balconies, the Indianapolis Fire Department said in a social media post. One person jumped from a balcony while everyone else was able to get out on their own, the department said.
