Description
On Jan. 27, organizations around the world will remember the millions of people who died in the Holocaust nearly 80 years ago in Nazi Germany for Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Several of those ceremonies will be held in Indianapolis.
IU Indianapolis will be hosting a remembrance program from noon to 1 p.m. Monday. The event, held in the Campus Center Theater, will feature a memorial and a candle lighting. Additionally, Dee Schwartz will share the story of her family's survival from the Holocaust.
Also in the Campus Center Theater, a discussion will be held on what to do with the scientific knowledge uncovered by the heinous acts of Nazi doctors. That event will be held between 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
