More than a dozen states are now suing over President Donald Trump's executive order to end birthright citizenship.
However, Indiana is not one of them.
The law, guaranteed by the 14th Amendment, states that anyone born in the U.S. is automatically a U.S. citizen.
"Basically, the Trump administration is contravening a Supreme Court opinion from the late 19th century," said Luis Fuentes-Rohwer, a law professor at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
