Description
A "re-imagined" Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum is set to reopen this spring after more than a year of renovations.
The facility, which will feature 40,000 square feet of additional "exhibit and experience space," is opening its doors to the public Wednesday, April 2 after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Museum members and donors will get a chance to preview the space at an invitation-only event the day prior.
Visitors with a general admission ticket will have access to all exhibits and display areas in the museum, including the lower level, which was previously restricted to certain tours, as well as a new mezzanine with artifacts on view for the first time.
