Central Indiana is in a "deep freeze" with single-digit temperatures and brutal wind chills, which means HVAC companies are slammed.
On Monday, Jan. 20, 13News tagged along with a technician from Williams Comfort Air as he answered several emergency calls.
"Busy year-round, but more so when it gets really cold and really hot. That’s the biggest demand," Eric Fernandez said.
One of the stops was at an Indianapolis home where the gas company reported an issue with the furnace.
Within minutes, Fernandez diagnosed the issue — the flue pipe came off the furnace.
