Description
As a reinforcing shot of cold air pushes south into Indiana, a cold front may be able to squeeze out some snow showers on Tuesday with light accumulation.
This will be a very dry snow, likely arriving mid-morning and lasting into the early afternoon. Because of the very cold air with wind chills below zero all day, this will be a dusty snow. With less water in the atmosphere you can produce more snow. This is will be a high liquid to snow ratio.
That means even though this isn't a big system, there's a decent chance we get a dusting or half inch of snow in spots across much of central Indiana.
It will stick to preexisting snow. There may be slick spots the rest of the day on the roads.
