Three people convicted in Chris Beaty's, a.k.a. "Mr. Indianapolis," murder will stay in prison after the Indiana Court of Appeals upheld their convictions Wednesday. On June 21, 2023, a judge sentenced Marcus Anderson, Nakeyah Shields and Alijah Jones to essentially spend the rest of their lives in prison. Anderson and Jones were sentenced to 164 years in prison, and Shields received a 108-year sentence. A jury found them guilty of killing Chris Beaty.
