A beloved boba tea shop in southeast Houston is temporarily closed after a vehicle plowed through the storefront Monday morning. The incident happened just before Boba Bird, located off Blackhawk Boulevard near the Sam Houston Parkway, was set to open. Surveillance footage captured the moment the vehicle crashed into the shop, destroying the front counter, tables, and part of the back office. The driver involved in the crash was reportedly uninjured. The cause of the incident remains unclear, and a police report has been filed.
