The 2024 Indianapolis Colts season will likely go down in the history books as one to forget. However, team owner Jim Irsay says he intends to keep the status quo — for now.
In a letter posted following Sunday's 26-23 overtime win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Irsay addressed fans directly, sharing in their disappointment that the team failed to reach the NFL playoffs.
"There’s a high standard in this city for our team and anyone who steps on the field wearing the Horseshoe," Irsay wrote. "The expectation is to win our division and compete for championships. Just being on the doorstep of the playoffs is not the standard I expect, nor what you deserve."
