Scattered heavy snow showers are possible for a 3 to 5 hours later this evening and tonight across central Indiana. Most of the state could pick up a dusting or so, but areas north of Indianapolis may get 1 to 2 inches of snow by Friday morning. While this is not a major winter storm, a quick inch or so could create a lot of slick spots tonight and Friday morning. A much larger winter storm is possible on Sunday.
