The Morgan County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating after a 64-year-old man was hospitalized following a home invasion early Saturday morning. According to a release from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, around 2:40 a.m. on Dec. 21, deputies responded to the 9000 block of North State Road 39, just south of Bunker Hill Road in Mooresville after a report that a man had been attacked inside his home. Police say the man's wife awoke to sounds of her husband screaming. When she went to investigate, she found him awake and conscious, but suffering from head injuries.
