Description
The Marion County Public Health Department announced Friday that hospitals in the county will soon implement temporary visitor restrictions.
The move is in response to an increase in respiratory viruses such as flu and RSV.
The restrictions will go into place during the week of Dec. 16.
Those restriction include:
— No visitors with symptoms of illness such as sudden onset of fever, cough, headache, muscle and joint pain, sore throat, and runny nose.
— No visitors under the age of 18.
