IMPD has released edited bodycam footage of a fatal police shooting that happened on the east side of Indianapolis in October. According to IMPD, officers were initially called to the 1000 block of North Kealing Avenue, near 10th Street and North Sherman Drive, around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 27 on a report of a theft. While officers were investigating the theft report, an uninvolved car approached officers and came to a sudden stop. A woman got out of the vehicle and told officers that she was being held at gunpoint by a man she did not know, later identified as 25-year-old Julius Hill.
