The Indiana State Fire Marshal has officially ruled the cause of a fire that killed six Indiana children as "undetermined." The fire happened Jan. 21 at a South Bend home in the 200 block of North La Porte Avenue, near West Colfax Avenue. The oldest was 11 years old. The youngest was just 17 months old. During a news conference on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the fire marshal said his office had invested thousands of hours into the investigation, alongside the ATF and South Bend Fire Department.
